Can I return a 'Technology' item?

We understand that sometimes your needs or preferences may change, even after your order arrives. We’re happy to review return requests for classroom technology and software applications—including items like our Inspire Boards, Illumination Station, Beam Mobile, tablets, and other technology products. A few important guidelines apply.

Can I Return Classroom Technology?

Technology Return Guidelines

  • Return request window – 15 days
    All return requests for technology items must be submitted within 15 days of receipt of your order. To submit a return request, please complete our online form here:

  • Condition of the item
    • Items must be in their original, unused condition.
    • All components, accessories, cables, manuals, and original packaging must be included.
    • UPC labels and product labels must be intact and not removed or damaged.
  • Open-box and used items
    If a technology product has been opened or shows signs of use, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit.
  • Shipping your return
    Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to Kaplan for any approved technology return.

Special Guidelines for Inspire Interactive Panels

Once an Inspire Interactive Panel has been assembled and signed off as operational, it cannot be returned.

Missed the 15-Day Window?

If more than 15 days have passed since you received your technology item, you may still have options through the manufacturer’s warranty.
