Our business casual dress code is designed to balance comfort, approachability, and professionalism. We lean more casual than traditional business environments, while maintaining a polished, work-appropriate appearance that supports collaboration, safety, and respect for colleagues and customers.

General Expectations

Employees are expected to present a clean, neat, and professional appearance during the workday.

  • Clothing should be clean, well fitted, and in good condition
  • Items should be free from rips, excessive wear, stains, or wrinkles
  • Graphics, text, or logos should be appropriate for the workplace
  • Attire should support safe movement and daily job responsibilities

Acceptable Business Casual Attire

Tops

  • Casual button-down shirts
  • Polo shirts
  • Blouses and professional tops
  • Sweaters, cardigans, or casual pullovers
  • Layering pieces such as casual jackets or vests

Not recommended: tank tops, crop tops, halter tops, or tops with offensive or overly bold graphics.

Bottoms (Including Jeans)

  • Jeans are allowed when they are:
    • Clean
    • Free of holes or significant distressing
    • Properly fitted (not overly tight or sagging)
  • Casual slacks or chinos
  • Casual skirts or dresses of an appropriate length

Not recommended: athletic shorts, leggings such as pants, pajama-style bottoms, or overly short skirts.

Footwear (Including Sneakers)

  • Clean sneakers are acceptable
  • Casual shoes, loafers, flats, or low boots
  • Shoes should be appropriate for walking and standing safely

Not recommended: flip-flops, slippers, heavily worn shoes, or footwear that poses a safety risk.

Grooming & Overall Appearance

  • Hair should be clean and reasonably styled
  • Personal grooming should reflect a professional environment
  • Accessories should be workplace-appropriate and not distracting
